Sennosuke is a very shy cat😽. When I cared for this little one for seven days seven years ago, it wasn’t until day four that I finally got a glimpse… At our recent meeting, Sennosuke was hiding under the bed again🫣.
 
Then came the first day of care! My heart was racing💓 as I opened the door…

There was Sennosuke, right out in the open! I even got a friendly rub as a greeting😳💕. I was absolutely thrilled, but I played it cool and offered gentle strokes so I wouldn’t cause a fright… haha.

Sennosuke is just as adorable as ever🫶.

Over five days of care, I was delighted to discover a little more of Sennosuke’s personality each day🎶.
 
It turns out the owner had said, “The sitter is coming, so make sure you say hello!”🤭 Sennosuke followed those instructions perfectly and did a wonderful job while the family was away👏✨✨.

Tsumu is a Pomeranian–Chihuahua mix who is not yet a year old🐶

I tend to think of Pomeranians and Chihuahuas as rather cautious around strangers, so before our introductory meeting, I wondered if Tsumu might be the same🙃
 
At that first meeting, Tsumu was a little shy🔥 Curious enough to want to come closer, but a little too nervous to take that step💫
 
Partway through the meeting, though, Tsumu came over and began sniffing me. It seemed I had passed the “this person seems safe” test👏👏
 
Some time had passed before my first care visit, so I wondered whether Tsumu would remember me. I need not have worried🤗
 
When I entered the room, Tsumu greeted me without a hint of wariness, tail wagging and whole body brimming with excitement😆🎵

When I crouched down, Tsumu came close for affection. The way those little ears folded back and Tsumu relaxed as I stroked that fluffy coat was so endearing—I could not resist giving lots of pets🤭❣️ Tsumu also did “sit,” “paw” and “other paw” perfectly👍

Time flew by while I was playing with Tsumu😳

Thank you for being my friend, Tsumu☺️ I look forward to seeing you again someday✨✨

Walking slowly.

Each step holds twenty years of life.

Eating slowly.

A little food, then a rest.

A little more food,

then another rest.

Savoring every mouthful.
 
Then, once again, making a slow but steady way to the window.

Feeling the breeze and gazing outside.

The light falling through the window, and the time passing through this room, both seem to move a little more slowly.

We are three close-knit sisters.
We are all in great shape.
And we never skip our face-toning exercises.

First, we sniff the sitter.

Hana looks up sweetly to keep the area around her eyes toned!

Oto is keeping her eyes wide open, too!

This time, I visited Niko, a four-year-old tortoiseshell cat 😺 This is her fourth appearance on the blog ❗

I usually only get to see her once a year, but this was my second booking with her this year 🥳

Once again, she came to the entrance to greet me 😊

She followed me around throughout my visit 🍀

Then it was time for her favorite teaser toy 😍 Last time it was blue, but this time it was yellow 🤩 Niko made playtime such a treat for her sitter, too ‼️

She also ate almost all of her wet food 😸

I look forward to seeing you happy and healthy again next time ❗

They are a very close brother-and-sister pair.

 
Sona is a beautiful and dependable girl💕

 
Kai is the mischievous one, but he knows his big sister is in charge💕

Over the 18 days I cared for them, shy Sona gradually began to open up to me☺️

 
Each time I arrived, the two of them would pop out to greet me. Caring for them always filled me with such a warm, gentle feeling.
