This is Mutta, a Scottish Fold—affectionately known as Muttan. 🐈

According to her mom, she is very gentle and actually loves affection. ☺️ But with a sitter she had just met, she kept a careful distance and watched closely. ✅ She is such a beautiful girl!

And this is Hibito, a Munchkin—affectionately known as Hii-kun. 🐈

According to his mom, he is an incredibly affectionate boy. ☺️ He was already lying belly-up when we first met. And although we cannot share the sound here, his wonderfully husky voice is so cool! 👍

Muttan was still keeping her distance, so the sitter did not push her or cause her any stress. Instead, I invited her to play with a toy from a little way off—and she gave it a tiny tap with her adorable paw. ✨

You might not guess it from her elegant face, but she turned into a true hunter! ‼️

Meanwhile, Hii-kun is actually on a diet. 🤫 His mom had told me that he plays without moving from his spot, reaching out with only his paws. 💦 Still, he certainly seems to enjoy playing.

It is hard to tell from a still photo, but at this moment Hii-kun was actually crawling forward on his belly! ‼️ I could not help laughing. 🤭

Meeting these two sweet cats and sharing such a happy time with them filled me with joy and gratitude. ☺️

I'm Luka, but everyone calls me Roo. It's lovely to meet you!

Mom and Dad headed out, saying, ‘Stay home with the sitter today, okay?’

Sitter: ‘Hello!’
Roo: ‘I was just lying down for a bit. I'll play ball with you in a little while.’
Sitter: ‘Okay! ❤️’

Sitter: ‘Want to play?’
Roo: ‘Yeah, let me just move over here. A little later, okay? Give me a bit longer. 💤’

Sitter: ‘Want to play?’
Roo: ‘Yeah, but I've got to check this spot out too. Just wait a little longer. 💤’

Sitter: ‘It's raining today, so you probably don't want to go outside. Shall we play ball?’
Roo: ‘......’

In the end, we played ball just once. 😅 Simply admiring Roo as he slept made this such a soothing visit. ❤️ Listening to his gentle breathing, watching his belly rise and fall, and seeing his mouth and paws twitch as he dreamed was absolutely adorable. 😍 Fast asleep and far too cute! 💕

Then it finally dawned on me: he knows exactly how cute he is, and he's showing it off! ❗️ Roo had me completely smitten in an instant.

Meet Mufuran, a seven-month-old kitten 🥰

When I opened the door, I heard a baby-like cry 🙂❣️
It was his first time staying home alone, so I thought he must be feeling lonely〰️‼️
But the moment I stepped inside, his eyes told me he was ready to play 😆

And every now and then, Mufuran would suddenly remember that he wanted some affection too.

Meet Kurumi 🐱 and Monaka 🐱, the lovely mixed-breed cats I looked after on this visit! ❣️

When I entered the living room, Kurumi came over to greet me ✨

At our introductory meeting, I had only met Kurumi from under the bed, so I was thrilled when she came out 🥰
With that adorable face, she was asking for her food 😋

Kurumi enjoyed some Churu treats too 😊

Meanwhile, Monaka quietly watched my every move from a chair 👀

I gave Monaka plenty of space as I went about the care routine, making sure not to cause any alarm.

Monaka seemed hungry, but whenever our eyes met, she hurried back to the chair to wait 😅

With a little encouragement from some Churu, she finally ate some under the bed 😌

I could practically hear the thought behind that look: “I want to eat—are you going home soon?” 😂

These adorable cats did so well while their family was away 😊 Caring for them over those two days was such a comfort and a joy.
I look forward to seeing them again 🫶

Mugi, a Pomeranian–Dachshund mix, is a tiny puppy through and through—small enough to fit snugly in my cupped hands.

And no wonder—Mugi was born just three months ago!

Whenever I arrive for a visit and open the crate door, out bursts all that boundless puppy energy.

Mugi rushes toward everything in sight and within reach, exploring it all with gentle nibbles. It feels as though each new discovery is another little connection to the world.

That tiny body is clearly brimming with curiosity and the sparkling energy of a brand-new life. So dazzling and adorable was this little life, only just beginning, that for a moment I almost felt faint! 💦

Mugi was constantly on the move at first, but around day five of my seven days of visits, a calmer side began to emerge.

Mugi even began sitting sweetly in one spot, seeming to gaze thoughtfully into the air.

I was so moved. I wanted to say, “Thank you!” In just a few days, Mugi was already growing and changing before my eyes.
