Soft as Clouds, Sweet as Brothers — Amagasaki, Hyogo

Categories:  >

This time, my furry charges were Uju-kun and Tori-kun, a pair of Ragamuffin brothers.😊

Two impossibly fluffy, utterly adorable kitty brothers.💕

This is Uju-kun — the friendly one of the two.

And this is Tori-kun — a little more bashful and shy.

Uju-kun came right up to me and happily let me pet him.🥰

Tori-kun let me pet him too — from the safety of his cozy cage.🥰

After a little while… Tori-kun came tiptoeing out of his cage.

Sticking close to his big brother Uju-kun, he ventured right up to me.💕

Now that Tori-kun had joined us, it was treat time!

The two of them licked away happily, side by side.

Once they'd settled in a bit more, it was brushing time.✨

Uju-kun stood firm and let me brush him thoroughly, while Tori-kun let me brush him ever so gently.

Their fluffy, cloud-soft coats were beyond words.✨✨

The most luxurious softness I've ever felt — pure therapy.

And now, let's play with some toys!🎶

Snap! They pounced on the dangling toy.

And then — snap! — even the handle got nibbled too.

By now they'd grown so comfortable with me that they came over together, asking for cuddles.

Friendly little Uju-kun purred softly and rubbed against me with the sweetest affection.💕

And bashful little Tori-kun flopped right over, belly to the sky.💕

These two precious boys had me completely smitten by the end.

Uju-kun and Tori-kun, you were both so brave through your five-day stay. Well done, sweet boys!😊

Sweet Enough to Eat — Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo

Categories:  >

This time, I had the joy of caring for

Ohagi-chan — a sweet little patterned hamster.

It's so easy to see why her family chose the name Ohagi-chan.

Her chestnut-and-cream markings look just like ohagi — the traditional Japanese sweet she's named after.

😀

And true to her name…

she really is so impossibly cute, you could just eat her up.

✨😀✨

She lives up to her sweet name in every way.

Sweet little Ohagi-chan,

may your adorable little self keep bringing your family

all the joy in the world.✨

Thank you so much.✨

Meeting Aru-kun and Kanta-kun — Higashiyodogawa-ku, Osaka

Categories:  >

Hello there — so nice to meet you!

Wait — is that Aru-kun? Or Kanta-kun?

The one waiting right by the door was Aru-kun!

But the moment our eyes met, he startled and scampered off to hide.😆

As for Kanta-kun — well, he stayed tucked away the whole visit, and I didn't get to meet him at all this time.😅

But just as I was about to leave, Aru-kun came out to see me off at the door.❣️😭

Oh, that made me so happy!😂

Thank you, sweet boy.

Aru-kun, Kanta-kun —

please let me come back and take care of you again soon.☺️

Next time, I hope we can spend a little more time together( *´꒳`* )♡♡

Until we meet again!💕︎

Thank you so much for everything.❣️😊

A Charming Little Prince — Midori-ku, Yokohama

Categories:  >

This time, my playmate for the day was Kuu-kun, a sweet Chihuahua-Poodle mix.

At eleven years old, Kuu-kun still has a hearty appetite and bundles of energy. ◕‿◕。

When we played the treat-hunting game, he'd sniff away — "snuffle, snuffle" — like a little Sherlock Holmes, tracking down every last treat no matter where I hid it.

And out on our walk, he took the lead like a true gentleman — "The walking route is this way!" — showing me exactly where to go.

So dependable, so adorable — I was completely smitten with Kuu-kun.😊

A Sweet Little Gift — Saiwai-ku, Kawasaki

Categories:  >

The moment I opened the front door,

a clear, gentle voice welcomed me in…

Meet Re-chan — or Lemon Cream-kun —

a two-year-old cockatiel.✨

Partway through my visit,

I stepped out for just a moment to refresh his water

and from the other room,

I heard the sweetest little voice calling after me

"Heeeey, where are you goooing?" His sweet little call-out melted my heart.

"Re-chan, I'll be right back!"

I called back, my heart already full.

And yes — I may have hurried back

just a little faster than usual.

And then, to my delight,

he sang me the loveliest little song.😭😭♬

Re-chan, thank you for such a beautiful gift.✨

What a wonderfully expressive little soul he is

full of personality and charm.🥰

A heartfelt thank you to his family as well, for the loving care notes they prepared for us.

Even now, whenever I think of Re-chan's little song, I can't help but smile. What a warm, gentle gift to carry home.☺️

Our Beloved Little Youngest — Chigasaki, Kanagawa

Categories:  > >

Today, let me introduce the adorable little youngest member of a family of rabbits and birds.

This is Niki-chan, a stunning grey-and-white Cockatiel!

At just 11 months old, she's such a fresh-faced little lady♡

And Niki-chan? Oh, she isn't just beautiful…

She is one wonderfully entertaining little character!

When she comes out of her cage, she struts around like she owns the place — eyeing her older sisters' and brothers' food, sneaking little nibbles of the rabbit's toppings! Haha.

She'll happily hop onto my shoulder or back — so unbelievably cute — but the moment I speak to her, she gives me THIS face! Haha.

That expression isn't a threat, by the way —

apparently she gives this same look to her beloved family too.

It's a photo you can't help but look at again and again.

And here it is up close ↓↓↓

I'm told she also eats with grand, dramatic flair, flinging food about,

and her family laughs, "Niki-chan, you're supposed to be a girl, aren't you?!"⭐

What an utterly adorable little youngest, our Niki-chan!

Keep bringing those smiles to your family, sweet girl!

Now, let me share a little update on the senior members of the family too!

Maron-chan, the Lionhead Dwarf rabbit.

She's turned 11 years old now! As adorable as ever.

Mashu-chan, the Lionhead rabbit.

That fluffy "mom cut" hairstyle suits her so beautifully.⭐

Lychee-kun, the Pacific Parrotlet.

Still the biggest mama's boy, as always.

The angle in this photo makes him look so wonderfully round — utterly irresistible!

Chai-chan, our senior Cockatiel.

She usually gives me a clear "please don't bother me" attitude…

but the moment I put food in her bowl, she perks up just a little — and that's one of the small joys of caring for her♬

And last but not least — the "Karupisu Brothers" (named after the beloved Japanese milky drink),

Karu-kun the Budgerigar and Peace-kun the Pearly Parakeet.

They've been getting just a little bit plump,

and word is they're on a serious diet right now.

How are these two doing around the tummy area, would you say?

Karu-kun

Peace-kun

Each one with their own delightful personality, and each one adorable in their own way.

I'm already looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Thank you so very much!
