Fluffy-Coated Mu-kun — Yokohama

Categories:  >

This time, I had the pleasure of caring for Mu-kun, a chinchilla with a fluffy, fluffy coat.

With his soft, soft fur, Mu-kun is ever so adorable.😊

On the first day, he wore a "Who's come to visit?" sort of look.
But then……↓

As we gradually became familiar with each other,
he began giving me a pleading little look — "It's the food person!✨ Treats, please~ please~" — which delighted me to no end.❤️
And those tiny little paws are just too adorable.😉

Throughout my care, Mu-kun would crunch away happily at his food.
He was such a good boy, holding down the fort so well.😄
I do hope we'll meet again♪♪
Thank you, 😊 Mu-kun.❤️

Adorable Little Squeakers — Setagaya-ku, Tokyo

Categories:  > >

First up: Light-kun the chinchilla.

A friendly, energetic little boy.
Ever so curious about my bag, too.👀

Dashing, jumping, and loving his treats.

These tiny little paws are just too cute.♥️

After a good bit of play, he switches to rest mode.

Next, the fat-tailed gerbils —
round little Maka-chan.

Not a morning girl, perhaps? She's all curled up in a ball, fast asleep.

And petite Roni-chan.

Roni-chan always comes out to say hello, no matter when.

When I looked it up, I found their other name is the "macaroni mouse."

Ah, I see!
So that's why they're Maka-chan and Roni-chan — maca-roni😊

Cute, Lively, a Big Happy Family — Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama

Categories:  > > > > > > > >

This time, I had the pleasure of caring for an adorable big family.

Every one of them was so cute, I hardly knew where to look!

Let's start with the cats.

Ran-chan, a Ragdoll, and Karu-chan, a Somali.

Ran-chan came close to me, but the moment I moved, she'd quickly slip away.

Karu-chan, on the other hand, was wonderfully friendly — coming right up to me and even rolling over to show her tummy.

Next up, the degus.

They live two to a room♪

All of them full of energy, always eagerly awaiting their meals!😄

Next come the chinchillas.

Just when I thought they were asleep, they woke up, came over, and showed me their darling little faces.🥰

And there's still more to come!

Next, the squirrel and the voles.

The squirrel popped out of his room to say hello.

The voles ran round and round on a little dish — too cute for words!❤️

(Only two appear in the photo, but there are three of them!)

And then, the ground squirrel and the hamsters. The sight of the ground squirrel munching away

was just too adorable!❤️

The hamsters, too, kept peeking out from their hiding spots to show off their cute little faces.

Last but not least, the gerbils and Goro-chan the rabbit.

The gerbils are experts at tucking themselves away in the timothy hay.

Goro-chan ate plenty and was bursting with energy.😄

I wasn't able to get photos this time, but there was a hedgehog as well, and on top of that,

a turtle, tropical fish, and even a catfish — what a lively, joyful big family!

Each and every one of them, simply adorable.❤️

I lost count of how many times I said "so cute!" during my visit.

May you all keep living happily together, side by side!

Until we meet again!

Too Cute, Too Quick to Catch — Isogo-ku, Yokohama

Categories:  >

This time, I had the joy of caring for Jelly-chan, a chinchilla, for the very first time.❣️

From the very first day we met, her sheer cuteness had my heart racing.☺️

Soft, fluffy little Jelly-chan.❣️

There was a chance she'd stay tucked away in her room,

and maybe she wouldn't come out at all?

But all those worries vanished in an instant!

The moment she zipped out of her home —

she ran! And ran! And ran!

She was incredibly quick,

so quick that I could hardly snap a photo!😆

Dashing this way and that,

by the time I was ready to head home,

I felt like she'd been the one keeping me entertained!😁

"Hey! Over here!"☺️

— that's just what she seemed to be saying.☺️

I could have watched Jelly-chan forever.

Jelly-chan, I can't wait to see those wonderful runs again!☺️

A Big Family Sleepover — Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo

Categories:  > > >

This is Minnie-chan, with her gorgeous caramel-colored coat.

She absolutely loves her vitamin tablets — by the time we leave, every last one is gone✨️

And here's Kusa-chan, waiting patiently for her meal.

True to her name, she adores her hay🌿

Lined up and munching away — the boys' team🐾

From top to bottom: Sode-kun, Pio-kun, and Pota-kun.

Every one of them a little foodie, chatting away as they eat and eat and eat😋

The girls on the lower level tend to be a bit shy, but Timi-chan is always the exception — popping out to say hello and even staying close during cleaning time. Such a helpful little sweetheart☺️

Hoshi-chan, with the little white spot on her head, and calico Pii-chan were both tucking into their veggies with gusto!

The kitties were holding down the fort too.

Pero-kun came by on the first and last days to politely request "Open the door, please!"🐈️

And Runta-kun stopped in regularly, as if to say, "Are you doing a good job?"😼

Sweet Moru-kichi-kun and Cha-chan had passed away just before our stay began, and Pupu-chan and Hamu-chan were at the vet during this visit.

Though we didn't get a photo, Shoyu-kun the chinchilla was part of this big family stay too. Every one of them did their very best. Until we meet again🍊

Yuki-chan, the Wide-Eyed Chinchilla — Suita, Osaka

Categories:  >

This was my very first time caring for a chinchilla❣️

Meet Yuki-chan, a sweet little girl just six months old😍

Her round, sparkling eyes and tiny, delicate paws were so adorable that I — a little nervous about my very first chinchilla visit — fell head over heels in an instant😍💗

She picked up each treat one by one, using her dainty little paws so skillfully, and munched away happily👏😆

"I love hay too!💚" — she nibbled on her timothy hay with such contentment😋

Yuki-chan was a little shy about coming out of her house, but every now and then she'd peek out, as if checking on me, and offer a sweet little moment of affection😂🙏

She even had fun spinning on her exercise wheel🤗

And at the very end, she let me gently rub her under the chin💕️

I was completely smitten with this wide-eyed little sweetheart😍

Next time, I'd love to play together a little longer😂

Yuki-chan, until we meet again❣️
