Going purely by the sound of her name, I jumped to "Tono" as in "my lord," 
 
and ended up asking, "Is it a boy?" — my apologies! 
 
She's Tono-chan, written in hiragana — and she's a girl.♡ 
 
 

 
 

Tono-chan had been friendly right from our meeting, happy to let me touch her, but 
 
on the first day of care — huh? She seemed a bit distant⁈ 
 
 

First up, a walk. 
 
This isn't a kidnapping, is it? 
 
She wouldn't leave the apartment grounds — feeling a little wary, perhaps? 
 
 

 
 

All right then, let's run around the parking lot on the grounds instead!! 
 
 

 
 

Running together, we closed the distance between us, 
 
and after I gave her her meal, she even let me brush her teeth.♡ 
 
 

 
 

From the second day, we could walk far and wide, too. 
 
 

 

 
 

I'm so glad we became friends.

and Brooksa-chan, two years old. 
 
Their owner and these two first met at a rescue cat café♪♪♪ 
 
Their owner, kept busy with work, 
so that the cats would never feel lonely, 
made the decision to welcome the two of them together. 
 
 
 
At our meeting, 
"They're always right here." 
When I gently parted the clothes in the closet… 
 
 
there they were, snuggled up close together, 
the two of them gazing up at me. How adorable.😍

So I'd been told, as I headed to Nanako-chan's home. 
 
Even so, she put her raincoat on just fine 
and braved her not-so-favorite rainy walk!

She was such a good girl for her towel-down after the walk, too.😊

As I tidied up the raincoat and wet things at the entrance, I felt a gaze from above……

I'm shy, but with someone I've come to trust, I turn into a real cuddle bug! 
But being petted isn't my thing! So I'd be happy if you keep a nice, comfortable distance!! 
That said, I love being brushed! Though with people I'm not used to, I'll only allow a little — because this glossy coat I'm so proud of is proof of all the love Mama and Papa give us.✨
