Choco-chan always watches over me from the top of her favorite cat tower. 

She rarely comes down from her perch, so when she does step closer to say hello… 

…I get completely carried away. "Choco-chan, let's play!" I say, holding out a toy — only to receive… 

…a stern look from Choco-chan that clearly says, "Not yet, you're not ready!" Yes, ma'am — I'll go train harder and try again.

This is Minnie-chan, with her gorgeous caramel-colored coat. 

She absolutely loves her vitamin tablets — by the time we leave, every last one is gone✨️ 

And here's Kusa-chan, waiting patiently for her meal. 

True to her name, she adores her hay🌿 

Lined up and munching away — the boys' team🐾 

From top to bottom: Sode-kun, Pio-kun, and Pota-kun. 

Every one of them a little foodie, chatting away as they eat and eat and eat😋 

The girls on the lower level tend to be a bit shy, but Timi-chan is always the exception — popping out to say hello and even staying close during cleaning time. Such a helpful little sweetheart☺️ 

Hoshi-chan, with the little white spot on her head, and calico Pii-chan were both tucking into their veggies with gusto! 

The kitties were holding down the fort too. 

Pero-kun came by on the first and last days to politely request "Open the door, please!"🐈️ 

And Runta-kun stopped in regularly, as if to say, "Are you doing a good job?"😼 

Sweet Moru-kichi-kun and Cha-chan had passed away just before our stay began, and Pupu-chan and Hamu-chan were at the vet during this visit. 

Though we didn't get a photo, Shoyu-kun the chinchilla was part of this big family stay too. Every one of them did their very best. Until we meet again🍊

Today's visit was with Kinako-chan, a little one with the most expressive face you've ever seen✨ 

That sweet, curled little mouth — I just can't get enough of it❤️❤️ 

She greeted me with all sorts of adorable poses😊✨ 

Such a sweet little cuddle bug♪♪ But then…!? 

Hunting? She's a natural✨ Snap! She caught her toy mid-air with perfect timing👏👏 

"I'm not just sweet, you know?" — I got to see so many wonderful sides of Kinako-chan today♪ 

Our time together flew by in the blink of an eye. 

Kinako-chan, I can't wait to see you again❤️ Thank you, sweet one✨

This was my very first time caring for a chinchilla❣️ 

Meet Yuki-chan, a sweet little girl just six months old😍 

Her round, sparkling eyes and tiny, delicate paws were so adorable that I — a little nervous about my very first chinchilla visit — fell head over heels in an instant😍💗 

She picked up each treat one by one, using her dainty little paws so skillfully, and munched away happily👏😆 

"I love hay too!💚" — she nibbled on her timothy hay with such contentment😋 

Yuki-chan was a little shy about coming out of her house, but every now and then she'd peek out, as if checking on me, and offer a sweet little moment of affection😂🙏 

She even had fun spinning on her exercise wheel🤗 

And at the very end, she let me gently rub her under the chin💕️ 

I was completely smitten with this wide-eyed little sweetheart😍 

Next time, I'd love to play together a little longer😂

This is Woobie-chan. 

The eldest of the three girls, with the gentlest eyes that soothe me every single visit💕 

Even at her age, she still moves with such youthful spirit😊 

This is Smoky Joe-chan. 

The second sister. 

I always thought she was the cool, aloof type — but it turns out she's a total tsundere🙌 

And when the sweet side comes out, oh, it's irresistible😆 

And here's the newest little one, Miso-chan. 

The fur around her belly is the color of miso😆, 

and that, I'm told, is how she got her name😊 

She stayed close by my side the entire time, walking right alongside me and inviting me to play again and again😊 

Each of the three has her own kind of cuteness — every visit, I half-jokingly wonder if I've stumbled into my own little harem😊

This time, we had the pleasure of caring for three tiny, adorable Djungarian hamsters.🐹 

🐹"I'm Kumori-chan!"💖 

When our sitter leaned close to the cage, she came right out to say hello.😍 

And then… 

🐹"Nice to meet you!" 

She pressed her tiny little paws together in the sweetest greeting, followed by the brightest, beaming smile.💕💕💕 

🐹"I'm Hokori-chan!"💖 

She made it very clear she wanted out of her cage! 

Her cow-print coat was just too cute for words.😍 

When her meal was ready, she brought it right to the front of the cage. 

🐹"Thank you! Time to dig in!" — and the munching began right away.💕💕💕 

But still…

🐹"You're really not going to let me out?!"

🐹"And I'm Moufu-kun!"💖 

Here's Moufu-kun, fresh from his nap.🥱 

But the moment his meal was ready… 

🐹"Mmm, this is delicious!"👍🏻 

With cheeks puffed full, he gave it his all, munching away with everything he had‼️ 

Moufu-kun also brought his food right to the front of the cage, treating us to the most adorable little feast.🥰
