For about two years now, 

I've been caring for these three sweet pups. 

Recently, their family kindly let me know 

that they'll be moving abroad. 

 

Looking back through all the photos I've taken, 

every single one of them is just so adorable… 

and so many joyful memories come flooding back. 

 
 

So let me introduce them, one by one. 

 

First up — Vivi-chan, a five-year-old Chihuahua. 

A bubbly little princess through and through, 

who would always come bounding to greet me, 

wagging that tiny tail so hard 

it looked like it might fly right off. 

On walks, she'd often plant her feet and refuse to budge, 

a habitual hopeful for a carry in my arms. 

 

 

 

 
 
 
 

Next — Bear-kun, a four-year-old Chihuahua-Pekingese mix. 

Shy, soft-spoken, and gloriously at his own pace. 

On walks, he'd stride along with such elegance, 

like a proper little gentleman. 

 

 

 

 
 
 
 

And finally — Shuri-chan, a one-year-old Pekingese mix. 

I first met Shuri-chan 

back in November 2024. 

A playful little spitfire 

who would always follow me everywhere I went. 

Since the three of them usually walk together, 

she seemed a little unsure 

about going out just the two of us, 

looking around with curious, wide eyes 

all along the way.

that choosing took me quite a while! 

 

Their family tells me that around the time Vivi-chan turns ten, 

they'll be coming back home 

to Japan. 

 

I'll be waiting, with the warmest heart, 

for the day I see all three of them again.☺️

Today's star is the impossibly adorable Scottish Fold, Suzu-chan! 

With those sparkling, round little eyes — what a cutie of a girl she is. 

 

 
 

Even after a long time apart, she dutifully came right to the door to greet me — purring, then flopping over for a belly rub. I nearly melted on the spot from sheer joy! 

 

 
 

Now, this adorable Suzu-chan has a bit of a mischievous streak… 

Last time I was here, the water dispenser, well… she'd had her way with it! 

But her family is always several steps ahead. 

The whole home is thoughtfully arranged so Suzu-chan can stay comfortable and safe while they're away. Such clear proof of how deeply she's loved.🥰 

 

 

When I prepared her meal, she'd already be waiting in her cage, 

or earnestly pawing at litter that hadn't a single grain out of place… 

Such classic cat behavior — and oh, the cuteness simply will not stop!💖 

 

"Alright, I'll play with you — just because I feel like it ♪" she'd seem to say as she pounced and frolicked, 

but after a little while, she'd suddenly turn away with that faraway look in her eyes… 

"Mom, Dad… aren't you home yet?"… 

 

 
 

And for moments like these, Suzu-chan has her ultimate weapon — Churu!✨ 

Total transformation! She grabbed onto my hand without hesitation, savoring every last drop down to the final squeeze. So delicious, wasn't it! 

 

 
 

Every little gesture, every pose — Suzu-chan is just irresistibly cute.💞 

 

 

She did such a wonderful job on her solo stay.

The first to wake up was Ta-chan — whose grand full name, by the way, is Tachimaru. 

Still a little sleepy, I see! 

 

 

And here comes Ku-chan, ready to greet the day too. 

 

 

After enjoying a Churu dessert, it was time for their morning bath. 

 

 

Ta-chan dries himself off so beautifully — every little detail, all on his own. So impressive!👏 

 

 

 

Fresh from the bath, Ku-chan looked simply ethereal — 

Just like a tiny fairy✨️ 

 

 

Once the whole routine was complete, the two of them came right over to me, side by side, as if to say, "Play with us!" Honestly, the cuteness was almost too much to bear. Thank you, Ta-chan and Ku-chan, for such a precious morning🥰

Caring for three lovely kitties💞 

 

Meme-chan, a beautiful Bombay, 

and Momo-kun, a sweet mixed-breed boy, 

both a little on the shy side. 

They hadn't joined the Meet & Greet, 

so I arrived wondering 

whether I'd get to see them at all. 

 

But — 

on this very first visit, 

Meme-chan and Momo-kun 

accidentally let me catch a glimpse of them. 

And here is 

that precious, precious shot✨ 

So adorable! 

 

 

The original photo was much darker, 

I brightened it just enough to make them out🔍

I didn't want to startle them, 

so I snapped this from a careful distance. 

 

Now, was that Momo-kun or Meme-chan? 

Honestly, I couldn't quite tell. 

The two have different builds, 

but to my eyes in that fleeting moment… 

I just couldn't say😰 

To make matters worse, somewhere along the way, 

I'd quietly gotten their sizes mixed up in my head😓🙏 

 

Later in the visit, 

one of them peeked out again for just a second. 

It was Momo-kun. 

But I had been calling out 

"Meme-chan! Meme-chan!"

a few times before realizing. 

How embarrassing😕 

I'm so sorry, Momo-kun. 

please forgive me!🙏 

 

And here is Momo-kun, 

who graciously let me capture him one more time. 

 

 

And down at the bottom of the stairs, 

with a wonderfully commanding presence, 

sat the magnificent British Shorthair —

TAKAHIRO-kun.

When you hear that name, 

you might find yourself 

wondering if there's a certain inspiration behind it… 

and yes, you'd be absolutely right!👍 

 

 

A boy, yes — but truly beautiful✨ 

And it isn't only his looks. 

TAKAHIRO-kun turned out 

to be the most reliable little gentleman. 

 

He had even joined us at the Meet & Greet, 

and during my visit, 

he kept a watchful eye on my work as if to say, 

"Yes, that's just right" 

offering the most lovely assistance☺️ 

 

Once I'd finished my duties, 

he kindly stayed to play with me too.

that emerged from this magnificent body… 

 

So… so adorable. 💘

 

 

And before long, completely lost in the moment. 

 

 

"May I brush you, too?" 

I asked. 

"Sure, go ahead," 

said TAKAHIRO-kun. 

 

 

And then suddenly 

"Alright, that's enough now"

he gently rested his round little paw on my hand.

The feeling of that paw 

was extraordinarily gentle. 

Not a hint of claw — soft and round, 

just like the paw of a plush toy♬

Say hello to Patrol Captain Didi! 

This was Didi-chan's very first solo stay — her big debut!✨ 

Deep down, she was a little nervous, but her curiosity won the day.😺✨️ Didi-chan came right to the entrance to greet me at the door. 

 

 

 

Even at mealtime, beneath that brave little face, her heart was fluttering just a bit — but she still let me give her gentle pets💕 

 

 

Playtime must have been nerve-wracking too… right? But a toy flying right in front of her? Impossible to resist. She fell for it every single day!🎣😺 

 

 

 

 

 

For Didi-chan, this was her very first time being on her own — and she handled it with such grace and curiosity.✨ With her little ears perked up like antennae, scanning every direction, she truly looked like a patrol captain on duty! 

 

And to wind down, a quiet moment of grooming in her favorite cozy spot♬ 

 

 

Seeing her brave side and her relaxed side, all in one stay — what a joyful visit it was.☺️

Happy 14th Birthday, Mahiro-kun!🎂 

 

 

Mahiro-kun turns 14 on May 16th. 

Our birthday boy. 

A grand, fluffy gentleman with a long, flowing coat. 

He carries himself with all the elegance of a true Maine Coon — the breed often called the "gentle giant" — with a wonderfully affectionate side to match. 

 

 

He absolutely loves being petted, and the blissful look on his face when you stroke him is enough to put a smile on anyone's face💕 

 

 

 

He may look like he's spending his days in peaceful relaxation, but don't be fooled — he loves to play! 

Show him a toy, and he locks on with focus, catching it with surprising power✨ 

That gap between his calm grace and his dependable, athletic side is one of Mahiro-kun's greatest charms. 

 

 

 

 

And here's what really amazed me — medicine time. 

Place his pill in the palm of your hand, and he takes it himself, calmly and beautifully✨ 

He's the kind of good boy who deserves an award from the vet! 

What an incredibly clever boy.
