"Let's Go for a Walk~!" — Tennoji-ku, Osaka

Categories:  >

Nice to meet you! Let's have a lovely two days together.

This is Asahi-kun, a Yorkshire Terrier.

He's adorable and quite the handsome pup💖

Asahi-kun has one rather unusual little signal.

It's putting on his harness and leash and saying, "Let's go for a walk~!"

Now then, what could this signal actually mean?

(…Isn't that just a walk?!🤔)

You'd think so~ normally, that is…

And the answer is… this!

It's mealtime!🍲

After his meal and a little rest, when I pick up the walking bag, then it's time for a real walk😃

Running and walking with plenty of energy,🐾💨🐾💨

then a little break on a bench.

After the walk, Asahi-kun relaxes at home.

I'd love to see him again for another visit~😊

Let's go for a walk together again, too🐾

Until we meet again🥰🥰🥰

Little by Little, Little by Little — Koto-ku, Tokyo

This is Chokota-kun.

He used to be a shy boy who'd watch me from his hiding spot, but after meeting a few times, he's come to play with me😊

And this is Moguta-kun.

While I play with Chokota-kun, Moguta-kun keeps a very close watch on me🥰

Both of them have the softest, fluffiest bodies and adorable big round eyes.

They always soothe my heart🙌

Thank you, always😊

Chokota-kun, Moguta-kun, let's play again soon🥰

An-chan and Kii-chan, the Perfect Pair — Machida, Tokyo

Categories:  >

A Scottish Fold,

a five-year-old boy.

At our meeting,

he hid himself away🥷 — "Kinako-kun."

During the care itself,

he stayed in his own private room,

so there was no hiding — "Kinako-kun."

On the first day, Kinako-kun

wore the most thoroughly grim expression.😢

Such a handsome boy, and yet…😵

just like this.⤵️

Meanwhile,

turning three this year,

the Norwegian Forest Cat

Anko-chan

had been, right from our meeting,

just like this.⤵️

So beautiful🤩

"And who might you be?"

And right away,

nuzzling, purring away♪

Not even shy about showing her tummy,

"Pet me~"

"Play with me~"

I simply couldn't resist💓

But I can't just bask in delight!

Work, work💨

Kinako-kun, who'd been in wary mode at first —

well, that was Kinako-kun.

As the care went on,

he seemed

to come to understand me.

He soon began

eating his meals right away, too♪

Anko-chan, who'd started off

eating on the right,

would poke her face into Kinako-kun's dish, and then —

Swaaap❣️

The food in both bowls is exactly the same.

And yet this ritual simply must be performed😅

Anko-chan, of course,

and Kinako-kun as well

joined in the play.

I was warmed right through with joy.

♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪

Once we'd grown nice and close,

it was time for their beloved

Churu treats.

And when it was time for "See you again~,"👋

that very moment,

there was Anko-chan, as if to say, "You're leaving already?"

— that was Anko-chan⤵️

And with his expression grown so wonderfully soft,

that was Kinako-kun⤵️

My heart was utterly aflutter.

Their very first stay with a pet sitter

went so very beautifully🎉

Gorgeous, adorable

An-chan and Kii-chan,

thank you🥰

Three Cats, One Journey Through — Suita, Osaka

Categories:  >

Facing their very first long stay alone — ten whole days —

were three lovely cats: Mei-chan, Rin-chan, and Kabu-kun.

Gentle, easygoing Mei-chan.😺

For the first day or two, perhaps she was nervous —

she wouldn't eat her canned food,

and whenever I came near, she'd slip quietly away

and move to another room.🐾💨

But little by little, she seemed to grow used to me.

When I began preparing her meals, she'd wait close by,

and day by day, she ate more and more.🎵

Apart from mealtimes, she kept a comfortable distance,

passing the days at her own gentle pace.

Mei-chan is under treatment for an illness,

so she also needed her medicine,

but she took it without much fuss at all —

such a very good girl.

Rin-chan, the one who warmed to me most of all.

From the very first day, she let me pet her,

and played with her toys with me —

I was able to truly connect with Rin-chan.🙌

As she grew comfortable, she'd roll right over while I petted her,

asking sweetly for more affection.

Of the three cats, she took to me the most.🥰

And Kabu-kun, who is ever so timid.

Kabu-kun, whose coat and markings look much like Mei-chan's,

never once came out while I was there.

But he always stayed somewhere I could see him —

and that's the wonderful thing about Kabu-kun.😊👍

At first he wouldn't touch his Churu treats,

but after a few days, he began to eat them,

and this sitter was overcome with joy.

During this stay,

the one most affected by the change in her surroundings

was Rin-chan.

After a few days had passed,

she stopped playing with her toys,

she wouldn't eat her Churu treats right away,

and Rin-chan seemed downhearted, her usual spark gone.

There were small changes in her condition, too…💦

Hoping to ease her worries as much as I could,

from that day on, I spoke softly to Rin-chan —

"It's alright, it's alright."

"Mama will surely come home."

"Mama is doing her best, so let's do our best too, Rin-chan." —

and I kept petting her, slowly and gently, all the while.🤗

In the end, her energy and appetite returned, and her condition settled.

What a relief!😭✨

Through this first long stay alone,

even with the stress of Mama being away,

all three of them were brave and came through it together.💪😼

At Komugi-kun's Own Pace — Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo

Categories:  >

Komugi-kun, with a coat of beautifully toasted wheat gold🌾

He's a little on the timid side, so being taken out by this sitter left him looking rather troubled.

Even a lovely treat had to be offered from a distance…🧐

And even once he'd taken it, he was so wary he wouldn't eat it for the longest time.

As he grew used to our walks, I could see him smile, his face full of expression!✨️

He even had room to glance back at me, as if to say, "This is fun, isn't it?"

And after our walk, he began closing the distance between us — before I knew it, he was eating his treats, and even hopping onto my lap!

And yet the next day, there he'd be again, all aloof and hiding under the table (ha!).

"Why, oh why?🥺" I'd wonder — and then set off on another walk to win back that closeness from the very beginning.

Three steps forward, two steps back, over and over,

and little by little, we became friends✨️

I wonder if he'll remember me the next time we meet?

Let's grow closer at your own pace, Komugi-kun🐶

Kainaru-kun, Made for the Sea — Nishi-ku, Yokohama

Categories:  >

Written as "Kainaru," his name means the crest of ocean waves!

And he's a handsome fellow who lives up to that wonderfully cool name!

Matching his good looks, he has the loveliest voice, too — such a shame I can't share it with everyone😊

He played with his string in the sweetest little voice,

making Kainaru-kun cool and adorable all at once❣️

Until

we meet again, let's play lots and lots🥰
