So Full of Kindness — Konan-ku, Yokohama

Categories:  > >

Allow me to introduce them!
Each of them has two names😄.
First,
Hanna-san, also known as Kyaa-chan.

A graceful beauty whom sunflowers suit so well!
Her every movement is so elegant — a lady I'd love to learn from😊.

And next,
Pan-kun, also known as Ochi-kun.

A calm, composed fellow with big, round eyes!
His dignified face is simply wonderful!

And lastly,
Riz-chan, also known as Miki-chan☺️.

Miki-chan is such an affectionate little one,
and her little cries are ever so adorable😊.

Amazingly, they all understand both of their names perfectly😊.

Come mealtime, Kyaa-chan especially
lets the others go first —❣️
such a big sister, only beginning to eat once everyone else has settled down.

And Ochi-kun, too — when Miki-chan comes sniffing around in search, he steps aside with an "After you!!"

Such thoughtful, considerate ones, all of them🥰.

Since the World Cup is in full swing, we all tried a bit of soccer together😁.

Ochi-kun made quite the fine goalkeeper (ha!).

Let's have another match again sometime⚽️😄.

Goku-kun, Who Loves a Good Game of Ball — Tennoji-ku, Osaka

Categories:  >

Goku-kun was so excited to play that his tail was wagging away right from our very first meeting🐶

He led me all the way to the dog run below his home, where we enjoyed plenty of fetch☀️

Full of energy, Goku-kun would bring the ball right back to me — "Throw it again, quick!"☺️

Let's play lots together again soon~🥰

Still and Lively, a Contrasting Pair — Zama, Kanagawa

Milk-chan, a micro pig.

With a cow-print coat

and a red ribbon that suits her so well, she's a lovely girl🐄🎀

Roy-kun, a Welsh Corgi.

A handsome fellow, five months old🥰

Milk-chan is usually ever so quiet, but

she's quite the foodie,

and she reacts right away when I start preparing meals.

Click, click, click, click…

Ah, here she comes (ha!).

The sound of her little hooves on the flooring tells me

she's on her way over🤭

Roy-kun waits alongside her, too🐾

Can you do a "sit," I wonder?

When I asked him,

『❔』

he looked puzzled for just a moment, but

he did it beautifully👏

And can you do a "shake"?

He did it! He earnestly placed his short little paw right in my hand😂

The sight of it was just too, too adorable😍💕

By the way,

I'm told Milk-chan can do "spin" and "shake," too😲!!

Pigs really are clever, aren't they?🐷✨

Milk-chan,

at first, didn't seem interested in me at all😅

But

as my visits added up, she grew used to me

and began coming over to my side✨

Roy-kun is still quite the little rascal, but

when I spoke to him,

he made lovely, steady eye contact👀

Thank you, both of you🐖🐕️💕

Remember me until the day we meet again☺️

No Two Scents Are Ever the Same — Minato-ku, Tokyo

Categories:  >

Jiro-kun, freezing up nervously in the elevator.

(That his little jaw trembled every time we met is our little secret…)

But once he's outside, he's just fine.

"Let me show you my walking route."

Being a rescue dog, Jiro-kun is frightened when strangers pass by.

Even so, he walked along without minding me, there at the other end of the leash🐾

He always makes his U-turn at the very same spot.

On the way back, his pace would slow a little, a bit downhearted — "I don't want to go home yet." But the one who made that U-turn was Jiro-kun himself😂

Even on the same route each day, there are different scents and different sights, aren't there?🌱 We had such a lovely walk together!

Powerful Little Hide-kun! — Naka-ku, Yokohama

Categories:  >

The one who joined me for a walk this time was

Hide-kun — a little body packed full of power!!

At home he spends his time ever so relaxed and easygoing, but the moment he steps outside — full throttle😁

He runs and runs! And walks and walks!!

I'm told he usually goes on walks that take him very far indeed😊

This time, too, we kept walking as long as we could, but eventually our time ran out😭

And when we turned back, Hide-kun trudged along just a little downheartedly.

He really does love his walks😊

And once we were back home, he turned right back into laid-back Hide-kun,

and was out like a light😁

Next time, let's go even farther together~🥰

"Bravely Holding Down the Fort" — Suginami-ku, Tokyo

Categories:  >

This time, I cared for Yuzu-chan.

Eleven years old.

Right from our first meeting,

she'd bark a little, but

Yuzu-chan is a reserved little one.

She quickly took refuge in her cage😅

When I petted her, I could almost hear a little "Eek~💦💦"

— that's the feeling I got😅

But she let me touch her all the same🤭

On the day of care, too, she'd bark a little, but

she quickly took refuge in her cage.

While I cleaned up after her,

she came out of her cage and joined the watch patrol.

Even when I set down her food — still on watch patrol🤭

After watching her for a little while,

she came a bit closer.

She ate👏👏

She'd left a little, so I let it be,

and finished up my visit.

When the owner returned home,

I was told that her meal, along with the one set in the automatic feeder,

had all been eaten up

— and that put my mind at ease.

To think of Yuzu-chan, nervous in her little body,

doing her very best to guard her home

— it makes her just too adorable for words😊

I'd be so happy to see her again.

I'm looking forward to that day😍
