The ones I came to care for over two days this time 

— making their fourth appearance on the blog! — 

are Hana-chan and Kiji-chan, 

a home of two lovely cats😺 

Sadly, once again, the shy 

Kiji-chan was nowhere to be met😿 — 

not even a trace of her presence😱 

On the first day, Hana-chan came all the way to the entrance 

to welcome me😊 

When I 

prepared her wet food, she came right over to eat it 

straight away😸 

As I went about 

cleaning the litter box and such, I saw Hana-chan 

quietly slip into the closet. 

That's what I spotted🍀 

When I reported to the client 

that she'd gone into the closet, 

they told me, "The closet is her summer retreat🏝️" 

And indeed, the area around the closet 

does feel a little cooler❄️ 

On the second day, there was no welcome from Hana-chan — 

I came into the room,

and no one was there. 

With a hunch, I gently peeked into 

her "summer retreat"… 

and there was Hana-chan, dozing away 

in her summer retreat😸 

In the end, right up until I left, from her retreat 

she never once emerged…🙀 

and so I quietly took my leave of the two cats' home. 

And that was my visit.

This is Uzuki-kun. 

When we first met, he'd hide, run away, and hiss whenever I came near — but these days, he's all boldness. 

"Pet me — and if you like, I'll even hop up on your shoulder," he'd insist, and it was a moment that made me so very glad I'd become a pet sitter🙌 

And this is Hinata-chan. 

Hinata-chan was all nuzzles right from the start😊 

She'd follow me everywhere, chatting away with little "meow"s😊 

She's such a gentle one, making me glad to be a pet sitter every single time. 

Uzuki-kun, Hinata-chan, let's play again soon!

This time, getting through a slightly longer stay together, were Ragdoll Fuji-chan and black-and-white cat Nori-chan. 

When I visited for our first meeting two days prior, I got to meet Fuji-chan, but Nori-chan was a no-go. 

The first day of care… 

"Hello there~!" 

Fuji-chan the Ragdoll came to greet me. 

Quiet and elegant, that's Fuji-chan💖 

As I prepared her meal, she'd sneak over and dine ever so daintily. 

She took her treats from my hand, too. 

But if I fussed over her too much, she'd slip quietly away. 

Off she escaped into her dome-shaped playhouse. 

Now, as for the other one — black-and-white Nori-chan was nowhere to be found. 

Actually, it wasn't until the third day of care that I finally got to meet her! 

…or rather, that I found her💖 

Where do you suppose this is?! 

The very back corner of the closet! 

Now that you're found, you'll just have to give up! 

Out you come~ 

Hooray~~! A grand success, thanks to treats! 

Once she'd come out that first time, Nori-chan was just fine. 

And on the final day, the two of them side by side. 

You both held down the fort so well over these five days. 

Until we meet again🥰🥰

When it's time for the sitter to arrive, I take my place at the screen door where I can see the entrance✨ 

The moment I spot her, I dash over to greet her! A big warm welcome again today😸🎉 

My hospitality starts with a "Look at me♪" 

Hop onto the table! Down to the floor! Back and forth right in front of the sitter🐾 

Once I'm up on the table, I'm just a few centimeters from her face💕 

"Let's play up close!" — that's what I tried to tell her🤭 

First she watered the sunflowers🌻 on the balcony, and then came my beloved brushing time✨ 

Purr, purr~ it felt so good my throat rumbled away, and I drifted right off into dreamland😽 

And before I knew it, look how much fur had come off! 

For the second half, it was the playtime I'd been waiting for🎣 

After a little warm-up nibbling on my toy, I locked on to the cat teaser!👀✨ 

Jump! Dash! Hide-and-seek under the chair! 

Full hunter mode again today, and I played and played😸 

After all that play, it's time for a nice, relaxed rest🍀 

I held down the fort so well again today, and the sitter praised me lots✨ 

Oreo-kun: Come play with me again, okay?🐾💕 

Sitter: Yes, I'll be there🫡💕

I had the pleasure of caring for shy little Fuku-chan. 

Fuku-chan, a Scottish Fold, five years old, a girl. 

Sweet, sweet Fuku-chan, who simply adores her papa. 

"Hello there~!" 

There she is❣️ 

Are-you-alive check: complete😂🙆‍♀️✌️ 

At that very moment, I burst into tears (of relief). 

Papa had told me she might not come out at all…😅 

And then, as I went about my care, she came out to me! 

We got to spend a little time together, too. 

Fuku-chan is such a bashful one, but she came out, and I even got to pet her just a little — she was so adorable that it truly made me so happy. 

Sweet Fuku-chan, who loves her papa so, so, so much♡ 

I'd love to care for her again💓
