Playing with the toys Mama and Papa set out for me is my daily routine! 
My very favorite is string✨️ — that slim, ever-shifting quality is just so irresistible.✨️ 
Once I spot a string, I can catch it from anywhere😍 
 

 
 

I'm Acha. 
I'm shy, but with someone I've come to trust, I turn into a real cuddle bug! 
But being petted isn't my thing! So I'd be happy if you keep a nice, comfortable distance!! 
That said, I love being brushed! Though with people I'm not used to, I'll only allow a little — because this glossy coat I'm so proud of is proof of all the love Mama and Papa give us.✨ 
 

 
And so, when Mama and Papa are away, the two of us team up on home security duty! 
 
Word around town lately is that there's a handsome guard on duty — is it really true? 
 

 

As long as Mama and Papa are smiling, that's all we need! 
 

 

 
 

And I, their sitter, was taught all sorts of things by the two of them, so I might become a guard myself❣️

It was a visit with a family of three cats, a chipmunk, and a degu — 
such an adorable household.❣️ 
 
🐱Chii-kun, a mixed breed. 
The big brother with a hearty appetite. 
 

 
Chii-kun, who can't resist his food, 
once he's finished his own meal, 
goes off to eat the others' food.😋💨 
So the other cats' bowls 
have lids that open only in response to that cat's own microchip.💡 
Even so, he'd seize any chance to go after their food.😂 
 

 
🐱Komugi-chan, a Minuet. 
The timid middle child♡

The most timid of the three cats, Komugi-chan🐾 
is so shy she'd hide away somewhere whenever I visited. 
I'd wondered if she might not come out at all during my visits, but 
the moment I started waving a toy, there she'd be at my side before I knew it…✨ 
From the very first day, mixing in with the other two, 
she joined right in on the play.🎶 
She let me pet her, too, and Mama told me 
it was rare for her to warm up from the very first day.🎉 
By the time she'd settled in, she'd even come nuzzle affectionately at my feet.🤗

🐱Kuromu-kun, a Russian Blue. 
The curious little youngest♡

Right from our meeting beforehand, 
he seemed thoroughly curious about me.🎶 
He'd come to welcome me, 
and during my care, he'd watch what I was doing from close by.🐾 
Once he'd grown comfortable, Kuromu-kun spent his time as free and easy as could be,🤗 
now and then playing chase with Chii-kun.

And they all love their crinkly, rustly toys.❣️ 
Running, leaping, tumbling over, 
they played away so joyfully.😆 
Chii-kun and Kuromu-kun would sometimes make great big leaps, too. 
At the sight of them all playing so adorably, 
I simply couldn't stop snapping photos.🥰

🐿️Chocola-kun, a chipmunk.

At our meeting beforehand, 
I'd been told Chocola-kun might bite, as his mating season had just ended.😌 
But surprisingly, perhaps he took an interest in me, 
because he came close and showed me his adorable self.💖 
He even ate his food right in front of me, and 
with every bite, his cheeks puffed up little by little — 
so unbearably cute that I couldn't stop snapping photos.😍

🐭Yukimi-chan, a degu. 
True to her name, her coat is pure white.✨

Coming up to my hand without any fear, 
running merrily on her wheel, 
nibbling away on her pellets — 
Yukimi-chan, with her adorable little ways, 
had me unable to stop snapping photos, too.💕

The charm of each and every one of these animals 
could be savored all at once — such a fun visit it was.😊🎶

This time it was a slightly longer stay, 
and I got to see the two cats, 
Nara-chan and Mugi-chan, 
show me all their different expressions.☺️ 
 
The bright red little shrimp, 
and Kent-kun the gecko, who doesn't flinch 
even at a little tap-tap, 
were incredibly cute, too.

A battery change brought the automatic feeder back to life!

Surely today, too, he'd be hiding away somewhere out of sight. 
It was a summer afternoon I met with such thoughts in mind. 
 
When I happened to lift my gaze, Vyon-kun was atop the piano. 
As though he were a piece of furniture that had always rested there, 
he lay there, terribly still, in perfect balance. 
 

 
And yet, it wasn't that he was unaware of my presence. 
Without moving, he shifted his eyes just the slightest bit. 
 

 
In a small voice, I tried calling his name. 
Still, he didn't move. 
From a little way off, I simply gazed at him. 
And then, one of his eyes slowly began to close. 
 

 
"You're not hiding today." 
I murmured softly, deep in my heart. 
That he was simply there 
made me so very happy. 
After a little while, his other eye, too, closed quietly. 
 

 
Had he fallen asleep, I wondered? 
Or else—— 
had he decided there was no longer any need to be wary of me? 
Nothing special had happened. 
On any other day, leaving only a trace of his presence, 
he would vanish from sight — yet 
that day, he was atop the piano. 
He opened his eyes, 
looked my way just the slightest bit, 
and then slowly closed them again. 
That was all. 
 
And yet, 
a summer afternoon 
suits such a small moment so well. 
Along with Vyon-kun's quiet presence, 
that afternoon, too, 
passed slowly by, as though nothing had happened at all.

Floss-kun was once a rescue dog. 
Now he has a precious family of his own and spends his days full of happiness.✨ 
 
But… a sitter he's meeting for the first time might be just a little scary!? 
 

 
I wanted to put on his leash and harness for our walk, but Floss-kun went stiff all over with nerves! 
Pressed right up against the door, he stood guard with all his might — "I won't let a single finger in!" 
 
Somehow I got him ready, and off we went!!

As it turns out, Floss-kun absolutely loves his walks.❤ 
Even a rainy day is no bother at all! 
 
Tail wagging merrily from side to side, he strode dashingly through the city streets.

"Where did all that nervousness go!?" — such a transformation that I couldn't help but be amazed.✨ 
He walked along relaxed and full of energy — what a wonderful walk we had!

I'm Kuru-chan. 
If I do say so myself, I'm bright and outgoing through and through. Once I start running, I'll race around endlessly. 
And once I start playing with a toy, there's no stopping me. 
Since I'm still a kitten, I forget all about getting tired and end up completely worn out.

The one who helps me at times like that is my big brother, Tora-o. 
He usually keeps himself tucked away in his favorite spot, but having Tora-o around — with his long years of cat life — makes me feel so safe.

The other day, when I got a little too excited, he slipped smoothly out from his hiding spot in the corner of the room and warned me: 
"Now now, take it easy, or you'll trip and hurt yourself. Hiss!" 
Thanks to him, I got to play happily without a single scratch.

I call this wonderful brother of mine my dependable big bro. 
But don't tell him that, okay? 
 
Keep watching over me from now on, too.
