This time, I looked after a home of five hide-and-seek players.🏠️ 
 
Entry No. 1: Kotaro-kun. 
The eldest, and the easiest to find.♪ 
He spent most of his time atop the cat tower, watching from on high, 
serving as our site supervisor.💫 
 

 
 
Entry No. 2: Hanamaru-kun. 
Usually under the desk, though sometimes he doesn't quite manage to hide. 
He may grumble a little "grrr," but he never lifts a paw — such a gentle heart.🙌

Entry No. 3: Enzo-kun. 
He moves around the most — and gets found precisely because he moves. 
And he's playful enough to fall for the Churu trap, too.🎣

Entry No. 4: Hina-chan. 
Under the covers is the only place to be. 
Even when I can see her, she dashes under the covers in a flash.💨

Entry No. 5: Tsumugi-chan. 
The most elusive of all — using her jet-black coat to full advantage, she took first place at hide-and-seek.🐾

Everyone held down the fort together, happy and healthy! 
Here's hoping we can play something other than hide-and-seek someday.🍊

Kai-kun and Sora-kun bravely held down the fort for over a month — 38 long days. 
We took care of them with a team of three sitters.🤗 
 

 
 
Kai-kun, with a little more white in his coat, is a bold and lively boy. 
 

 
 
He'd often make a grand entrance from the closet, 
 

 
 
often play with water,

and often hop onto the air purifier to change its settings and flip the switch on and off. 
 

​ 
 
But then I'd turn around to find him belly-up, 
 

 
 
lounging curled up in a pot-shaped bed, 
 

​ 
 
or hopping lightly onto my back. 
 

 
Simply adorable.♥️ 
 
Sora-kun, with more brown in his coat, 
is a shy, sensitive little cuddle bug.😆 
 

 
When he feels stressed, he sometimes brings up his food or has little accidents — our sensitive Sora-kun. 
The accidents didn't quite stop, but the vomiting eased off in the second half — well done!👍 
 
When I tossed a toy, he'd just watch Kai-kun dash after it, looking blank and bewildered, 
 

 
but day by day, with a face like the one above ↑, he began joining in the play.✌️ 
 
His cuddly side really came out once I started brushing him. 
The moment I pick up the slicker brush, he rushes to my side before anyone else.😊

He rolls over right beside me, turning his back my way — 
which means "Do it, please~," doesn't it?😉

Oru-kun is an adorable ten-month-old Chihuahua boy. 
While I cleaned the potty area in his pen, he circled round and round me, hoping I'd play. 
So friendly, and so incredibly cute.♡ 
 

 

 
Oru-kun loves his walks! 
He looks like he's having the best time.🎵 
He trots along the whole way, but when he hears children's voices, he stops 
and gazes at them, completely captivated. 
 

 

His next-oldest sister is Tiara-chan, a one-year-old Ragdoll. 
When I unlock the front door, she's right there waiting. 
Is she welcoming me? Or standing guard against an intruder? 
 

 
Tiara-chan seems very curious about me. 
She always keeps a little distance, on watch. 
She's a girl, but Tiara-chan is ever so cool. 
 

 

The eldest, four-year-old Ragdoll Sophia-chan, 
is a little on the shy side. 
But when I put out the food, it's Sophia-chan who arrives first. 
After a few bites, she lounges in the living room. 
 

 

Aren't they both elegant and gorgeous?✴︎

The way he rests his face on the table is so cute that I was completely smitten.😍 
 

 
These friendly cats, each so full of character, soothed me to no end.🥰 
I'm looking forward to caring for them again.🍊

The one who splendidly took on the grand role of ring dog is Sabo-kun, a Bichon Poodle.🐶 
 
For this special day, his signature fluffy hair was styled to perfection.✨ 
 
And his tuxedo look is dashing, too.👍 
 

 
 

While waiting, lonely and anxious, he couldn't settle down inside his pen.😣 
 

 
 

We tried going for a walk, but it was so windy outside that his lovely fluffy styling got all messed up~💦 
 

So Sabo-kun headed back inside rather quickly.😅 
 

 
 

In the end, being held seemed to be what comforted and calmed Sabo-kun the most.🥰 
 
He waited so patiently, held in my arms right up until his moment.💕 
 

The staff showered him with praise, too — "So cute~!" "What a good boy!"✌️ 
 

 
 

And now, the moment had finally arrived! 
 

Would he deliver the ring safely? My heart was pounding, too.💓 
 

 
 

A lovely chapel with Osaka Castle in full view straight ahead.⛪️ 
 
The doors opened… and with a "You can do it!" I sent Sabo-kun on his way.🤗 
 

I'd hoped he'd go straight to the bride and groom, but contrary to my wishes, he made his way to them while greeting all the guests with plenty of charm along the way.😄

Thanks to Sabo-kun, the tension in the venue melted away all at once, and smiles overflowed.🥰 
 

In that space full of happiness, Sabo-kun splendidly carried out his grand role.👏 
 

 
 

The bride and groom looked just like models.✨ 
 
Such a truly wonderful couple.💖 
 
And with Sabo-kun joining them, the aura of happiness rose even higher.✨ 
 

I was given a share of that happiness.☺️ 
 

 
 

Having finished his big role, Sabo-kun seemed just a little tired.🥱 
 

Petted in my arms, he drifted off into dreamland.💤

This time's care was for six days while Mama returned home to the U.S. 
The cat's name is Sally-chan.💕 
They'd only just moved into this place, and the room was still full of moving boxes. 
In the midst of all that, would the cat I'd come to care for show herself, I wondered?🤔 
 

 
Just as I thought!! 
Here she is — under the bed.😣 
Day one with a shy kitty — the usual routine~😅 
 

 
Even so, when I prepared her meal, she came right out and ate it up.😉 
 

 
Plump and fluffy, just the way I love, and those little sock-like paws are just too cute.😍 
 

 
The second day of care. 
An accident struck!! 
Both air conditioners had switched off.😱 
S-so hot~!💦 
"Sally-chan! Are you okay!?" — I panicked with worry, but there she was, sitting primly in front of the bed.😮 
I quickly turned the air conditioner back on and got the fan going. 
 

 

"No need to panic!" said Sally-chan. 
"Yes, ma'am."😅 
After that, Sally-chan seemed to open her heart to me, and we became good friends.❣️ 
 

 

 

She began coming close to my side, and pets were now allowed!😆 
 

 

 

 

 

By the final day, she was nuzzling up in full bloom.💕 
You did such a great job holding down the fort in your new home!🤩 
Sweet, well-behaved Sally-chan.💖
