A Sitter Brimming with Happiness — Machida, Tokyo

In this home
lives Ko-chan the black cat,
Star-kun the tortoise,
Oppo-chan the sugar glider,
and Buron-kun and Sarge-chan.
(Sarge-chan was away this time.)
This is the family that lives here.

While I went about my work,

always-hidden
Ko-chan
— would you believe it —
came close to me❣️
Such a rare, rare thing✨
How happy I was😃

And this is Ko-chan's
treat case.

It has about three holes in it,
and when you shake it,
the treats inside tumble
right out.

Ko-chan,
keeping an eye on me,
put her paw on the little case

and the whole scene from start to finish
she showed me☺️

This time,
the Churu I'd set down a little way off,
she ate that too, while I was still there.
What a treat to see!

Star-kun the tortoise,
and the sugar gliders
Oppo-chan and Buron-kun,
"We're doing great~,"
they seemed to say, showing me their adorable selves😍

Having finished my care,
this sitter
was left with a heart
simply overflowing with happiness.

Sarge-chan,
and
Ko-chan, too —
I'd love to
see them all again💞
