Still and Lively, a Contrasting Pair — Zama, Kanagawa

Categories:  > >

Milk-chan, a micro pig.

With a cow-print coat

and a red ribbon that suits her so well, she's a lovely girl.

Roy-kun, a Welsh Corgi.

A handsome fellow, five months old.

Milk-chan is usually ever so quiet, but

she's quite the foodie,

and she reacts right away when I start preparing meals.

Click, click, click, click…

Ah, here she comes (ha!).

The sound of her little hooves on the flooring tells me

she's on her way over.

Roy-kun waits alongside her, too.

Can you do a "sit," I wonder?

When I asked him,

"…?"

he looked puzzled for just a moment, but

he did it beautifully.

And can you do a "shake"?

He did it! He earnestly placed his short little paw right in my hand.

The sight of it was just too, too adorable.

By the way,

I'm told Milk-chan can do "spin" and "shake," too!!

Pigs really are clever, aren't they?

Milk-chan,

at first, didn't seem interested in me at all.

But

as my visits added up, she grew used to me

and began coming over to my side.

Roy-kun is still quite the little rascal, but

when I spoke to him,

he made lovely, steady eye contact.

Thank you, both of you.

Remember me until the day we meet again.
